Lisa Murray is a photographic artist and educator from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.
Centring her practice within a narrative documentary and conceptual framework, Lisa employs an authentic and innovative approach to photography, exploring the interplay of time, memory, and personal experiences. She uses her own life journey as a lens to navigate and make sense of the world, resulting in a rich and multi-layered artistic expression.
Lisa’s work has been published and exhibited globally, and is recognised by LensCulture (Art Photography Award Winner, 2026), Photo Lucida Critical Mass (Top 50, 2023), Gomma (Photography Grant Winner, 2023), and HeadOn Photo Awards (Dual Finalist, 2024).
